Our Programs

Your 3-5 year olds can enjoy a program designed to prepare their minds for Kindergarten and prepare their hearts to know God.

Our Fall Program began August 14. Half day and full day programs (including before and after care) are available to meet the needs of your family. Pick up an enrollment form for your children in the church office. Let your friends and neighbors know that Westside Preschool offers a safe, caring environment for children to learn and grow in the love of the Lord.

 

  • Mon-Fri 8:30-11:30am OR 12:30-3:30pm ($165/mo)
  • Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:30pm ($335/mo)
  • Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm ($315/mo)
  • Registration Fee is $50 per child, per year
  • Mon-Fri before and after care 7:30-8:30am OR 3:30-5pm ($1/hr)

Our Daily Schedule

*Information Station/Circle Time- group sharing, Show & Tell

*Bible Time- Bible stories, songs, puppets, prayer, pledges to American Flag, Christian Flag and the Bible

*Communication Station-introduction to words and phrases in Spanish and in sign-language

*Water Break-snack and potty break

*Tools of the Trade- learning parts of the body

*Imagination Zone-pretend time

*Jam Zone-music, rhymes, poems and finger plays

*Reading Site-books and stories

*Action Zone-exercise, games and indoor/outdoor recreation

*Project Zone-art, shapes and colors

*Hard Hat Area-dramatic play, science, writing, block area, theme stations

 
Curriculum

Our Curriculum

"The Carpenter's Kids" is a bible-based curriculum that will be used by our teachers as the main teaching resource. The curriculum includes basic academics such as letters, shapes, numbers, and colors, along with Bible stories, moral lessons, scripture memorization, thematic units, Sign Language (finger spelling), beginning Spanish, and more.
